Back in November it seemed as if this day would never come, yet here I am already packing away my teaching resources and sorting through a rather smelly PE bag. A combination of snow and sickness reduced my normally enthusiastic English class to just three students so today’s final lesson was something of an anti-climax. Coupled with the 4.45am wake-up call as fever struck my son, it’s not exactly the finale I imagined. I had hoped to be raising a glass to the end of a busy school and college term, but instead I’m administering calpol and wringing out wet head towels.
At some point I’ll start planning this trip!
