The Spaceship’s End – Cairns to Brisbane

Reported by Noah –   We have now travelled 2331 km south and seen lots of interesting places. We went to Australia Zoo and yesterday we were at the ginger and honey factory at Yandina which was really tasty. We went on a bee tour and tasted Iron bark and Eucalyptus flavoured honey. The honey tastes different depending on where the bees get their nectar. Some Australian native bees are as small as a midge. Before I go I want to add that we stayed with a real Lieutenant James Cook – that was his real name!! Anyway, I’ve got to pack my bags now.

PS. I’m really excited about meeting my cousins – the only family we have on our whole trip
