Sunny Sydney

Another world landmark!

Reported by Noah  – We only arrived in Sydney yesterday but we’ve already done a lot. Yesterday, we went on the monorail and mostly explored Darling Harbour. I went on my first submarine at the maritime museum, where we spent a long time! Today we took the train to Circular Quay and saw the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. My favourite was the Opera House because of its architecture. Then we took the ferry to Manly which gave us great views of the harbour and time for me to play on the beach.

Later we walked from Circular Quay to Hyde Park and the Barracks Museum. This was an interesting museum because I did a kids trail to find out about life as a convict.

Interestingly I found out that there were at least 11 Lloyds who were sent to Australia as convicts! None of mum’s family were that naughty!!
