Tokyo to Northern Honshu

We’ve been so busy in the last few days that we thought a photo report might be the easiest way to show you what a brilliant time we are having.

We slept in our first Japanese bed

We made our first sushi with a Japanese family from Yokohomo

We rode on the world’s largest ferris wheel

We travelled at 300km/h on the newest bullet train, the animal-like Hayabusa to Aomori in Northern Honshu at the top of mainland Japan

We marvelled at the creations of the Nebuta Festival

We stood beneath Japan’s largest Buddha statue at Showa Daibutsu

and finally we travelled to  Hirosake to visit the historical castle

Quite frankly, we’re exhausted from it all! But this is why we’re travelling!
