Kyoto – Japan’s cultural capital

Reported by Noah and Sam – Kyoto is one of the world’s most culturally rich cities. It has 17 Unesco World Heritage sites, more than 1600 Buddhist temples and over 400 Shinto shrines. It would take a lifetime to visit them all but we walked from morning to night to see the highlights over 2 days.  We were also lucky enough to spend an evening with a local family and enjoy the city’s speciality food.  We think you’ll agree that this is the Japan every tourist comes to see.
