Feeling like a Sultan at Alhambra

DSCF4144By Noah –  Today we visited Alhambra, the 8th most visited place in the world. This UNESCO World Heritage site was originally built as a fortress in 889 but in the 11th Century it became a magnificent complex of palaces and towers for the last Muslim emirs of Spain.

With there being many interesting places to take photos from I took a staggering 142 shots of the palace and its grounds!!

The decorations within the palaces were beautiful with miles and miles of geometric design. I liked the gardens best as they were well pruned and organised and very uniform. Here are just a few more photos from our wonderful day. 8,000 people visit every day so make sure you are one of them at some point.
