The end of the world (almost)

Noah lands EndBy Noah – Blue skies and blue seas. Can this be the UK? We arrived at Land’s End with the sun on our faces and to an almost empty viewpoint. As you can see from the photo we got a shot of the famous signpost (though we had to do it behind the barrier as it cost £9.95 officially and that was on top of the £5 parking fee!!!). Other interesting facts we found out include:

  • The common garden snail would take 3 years and 4 months to get from Land’s End to John O’Groats (we could take longer given the detours we’re taking!!)
  • You would have to climb to the top of Everest and back down 80 times to cover the same distance.
  • And finally, to make a human chain stretching between the two points you would need 1,153,680 people

We made it to Lands End
